Department of Institutional Catering and Accommodation Management

 The Department of Institutional Catering and Accommodation Management   was curved out of the department of Hospitality and Institutional Mnagement.  The department offers diploma and degree programmes on both regular and module 2 basis, as well as other specialized short programs, courses and seminars to promote professional development and life-long learning. Graduates of our degree and diploma programs are adequately equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools to be effective business owners, supervisors and entry or middle level managers in professionally run organizations both in the public and in the private sectors. Students will benefit from experience driven learning in learning labs on campus, work experience exposure and Industrial Based Learning.

The Institutional Catering and Accommodation Management (ICAM) program prepares students for management and entrepreneurial career opportunities in welfare organizations. The program is innovative and designed to meet the challenges, needs, and demands of the 21st century welfare establishments.  The curriculum includes courses in catering, housekeeping, laundry and both core and elective courses in ICAM.
